Class 1 - special visitors!

Class 1 pupils were incredibly excited to welcome some very special visitors this week to support pupils’ science work on animal classification. Firstly, Sunny the stick insect came to spend some time with the children, who were mesmerised by her inquisitive nature. Mrs Jackson shared Sunny’s habits, including how she feeds on leaves and how, unlike cats and dogs who may drink for a bowl, Sunny collects her water from fine droplets sprayed into her habitat. Following Sunnys’ visit, it was the turn of Koopa the dog, to pop into Class 1. Pupils were very impressed with Koopa’s behaviour and enjoyed learning all about the dedication required to look after and care for animals.
