Thursday 23 November 2023 Refugee Week Pupils enjoyed a week of activities learning about refugees, culminating in a wonderful assembly for parents and families on Thursday afternoon. Many thanks to all who attended.

Tuesday 21 November 2023 Ofsted report published Chelford CE Primary School is delighted to publish its latest Ofsted report, which is now available to view. Speaking of the report, Headteacher Mr Brady commented, "We are delighted with the findings of the report; inspectors praised the expertise and dedication of our wonderful staff, and the inspiring curriculum that we have developed over recent years. We are especially proud to read of the comments pupils made to inspectors regarding their opinions of what makes Chelford CE Primary School such a special place to learn and grow. As always, we are immensely proud of all our children."

Friday 17 November 2023 Children in Need Many thanks to families for supporting our Children in Need fundraiser. As always, pupils rose to the challenge; the school was awash with yellow, spots and a good number of Pudsey ears for good measure!

Thursday 16 November 2023 Class 2 residential visit approved Governors approved the proposed Class 2 residential visit to Burwardsley. The one-night visit will take place on 8th - 9th July 2024. Details to follow.

Sunday 12 November 2023 Remembrance Sunday Service Members of the School Council joined community leaders in a poignant Remembrance Service at St John's Church this morning. Councillors laid a wreath in memory of all those from our communities and beyond who paid the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy today.

Wednesday 18 October 2023 Ofsted Inspection On Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th October 2023, Ofsted inspectors visited Chelford CE Primary School to conduct a graded inspection. As part of the visit, inspectors spent time with pupils, teachers - including Headteacher Mr Brady and subject leaders - governors and parents. They also explored the Chelford Curriculum in depth, evaluating curriculum planning, pupils' learning records and the intent of the published curriculum and schemes of learning.
