Everyone in our school community is passionate about learning!

At Chelford CE Primary School, we recognise our privilege and responsibility in helping to shape young minds and hearts and to give pupils an exciting, nurturing journey building memories to last a lifetime! We love to develop our pupils' sense of curiosity, wonder and awe of and to develop their confidence to enable them to recognise the unique and talented children they are. 

A key driver in enabling us to achieve our aims is the delivery of an inspiring and innovative Chelford Curriculum which delivers above and beyond the requirements of the National Curriculum. More information of our curriculum offer is featured in this section of the website.

Another key influence is the leadership, tuition and love provided by our excellent teaching staff - comprising all teachers and learning support assistants. Staff are experts in creating a welcoming, safe and calm environment in which children are empowered to contribute their thoughts and ideas. This ensures that all learners' needs are accommodated and that purposeful, trusting relationships are nurtured between pupils and adults. Through the use of Kagan cooperative learning structures, children learn the value of equitable teamwork, sharing roles and responsibilities and rising to the challenge of collaboration. They learn how to coach, support and challenge one another and take pride in their own and others' shared achievements.
