Religious Education
As a Church of England School, developing pupils' religious and spiritual awareness is one of our core missions. The driver for this is our theologically-rooted vision and the underpinning values that we hold dear.
Our commitment to providing an inspiring curriculum extends to the study of different faiths and spiritual beliefs. At Chelford CE Primary School, pupils are given opportunities to explore their own beliefs and learn to embrace and celebrate the views of others from around the world. Pupils learn to respect everyone's right to their own personal views and beliefs. As part of our curriculum, key themes and ideas are explored across a number of different world religions. This approach enables children to recognise the similarities of different faiths and world views and provides the opportunity for religion to bring people together.
